PLAN OF FORMATION:
Introduction

The aim and purpose of the Regional Seminary, St. John Vianney and the Uganda Martyrs is to provide the place and environment for the formation and training of men who will become diocesan priests serving the Church in the various dioceses of the Antilles Episcopal Conference region. It provides the opportunity for theological, philosophical human, and pastoral formation for Religious and laity, men and women. The formation programme helps seminarians become worthy ministers of word and sacrament, capable of addressing the peoples and times in which they are called to minister and preach the Gospel.

The Plan of Formation takes into consideration the Mission Statement, goals and objectives and principles of formation. (Part I). In dealing with Seminarians it outlines policies regarding Admission and Departure from the Seminary and the Seminary lifestyle. (Part II).

The final part deals with the ongoing formation of priests, the participation of external students, both Religious and laity, in the Seminary's Academic programme and the wider role of the Seminary in the life of the Church in the Caribbean. (Part III)
